New York, NY | 2 Review(s)

I teach English and Math as a private tutor. I like to travel all over the world, and to see new places. I am a writer...so I write (or is it the other way around?)

Fallbrook, CA

Nice but insulated - 6/21/2009
Churches in Fallbrook seem bible oriented and nice, but also insulated from the realities of the real world. When in NYC, I was told coldness is a part of large city churches; smaller towns would have churches which are warmer and full of love, but to my dismay I discovered that was not true. In fact, some churches in Brooklyn sounded more Christlike than those in rural areas in California. Fallbrook needs a re-awakening. Barring the coldness and the insularity of the churches, they were otherwise quite nice I thought.

New York, NY

A Happening Place - 6/20/2009
Sunset Park in Brooklyn is full of action. There are Hispanics and Asians and Caucasians and Blacks all over. Lacks class, but full of life and movement. Churches all over the place.
