Mesquite, NV

Mesquite is a superior place to live - 1/9/2014
I love Mesquite. It's sunny most of the time. It stays warmer than St. George and has a lower cost of living than most of the alternative retirement communities around. The people are friendly. Many of them have welcome conservative attitudes. Love that. There are lots of things to do. You can golf at half a dozen local, world class courses, Ski at Brian Head, visit nearby Las Vegas, or spend a day shopping and eating at St. George. The town has casinos if you like to gamble. They bring in lots of entertainment. Southern California is a short drive away. When I'm there I live at the Desert Shade Apartments. They are newly renovated, large, clean, and well kept up. The management there is responsive and keeps the place fixed up. I love the people there. It's a fabulous place to retire to. I save a lot of money living here while I feel I actually have a better life than if I lived in Vegas. I love the weather!
