I am a former Master Degreed Special Education teacher. I wanted a change, so I got a position as a senior counselor in a group home for emotionally disturbed teens at a non-profit. I love it. I also sell Mary Kay- I got interested in it several years ago while I was teaching on the Navajo Reservation. My skin was drying up and I had a principal who was selling Mary Kay. She offered some free samples and I've been hooked ever since. I am 56 and hardly have any wrinkles. As the years went on, I studied Mary Kay. I found out that she was voted America's best woman entrepreneur and Harvard uses her model in a business course.
When I decided to leave teaching, I needed to suppliment my income and Mary Kay was a logical choice. So far, it's been great.

Love Canandaigua - 10/11/2010
I grew up near here and after returning from the Southwest was pleasntly suprised by the "chosen spot" The lifestyle is laid back, it's a dog town, the people are great and it's peaceful like no other place I've lived. Driving to work each day by that lake sets a great tone for the rest of the day. Could not be happier.

I left the state 30 years ago. I have been living in the southwest with my sister. She recently died of cancer and I came back to be with the rest of the family. After being here 9 months, I remember why I left. The people are generally nasty, I can't get a job- I'm a Special Ed teacher and it is a generally miserable place to live.!
