There are no "white trash" here just honest, hard working people. They would give the shirt off their back if you needed it, and they are very quiet folks. In town you can leave you windows open at night and not worry about someone getting a quick peek or worse yet getting into you home. The skunks usually keep you from roaming at night. And most people bring the dogs in for that reason also. It is a full service town for everything except the opera, and theater. But that's not a problem as Portland is only 2 hours away and it's a nice drive and a straight shot. The horse community is growing as there are lots of trails and plenty of open gravel roads. The pace is slow in this town so bring a hammock and relax. We have our second home here and just love it. Oh and SNOB just don't bother as you will be marked and shunned!
