Wow! I really enjoyed reading every bit of this review hahaha. I could not agree with you any less! I've lived in California for 21 years and everything you mentioned is spot on with no exaggeration once so ever ! California is by far the most over rated state in the world! I love Florida and all the conveniences of that it has to offer without having to pay ridiculous prices for it. I lived in Miami and have been to cities throughout the state , Gainesville, Orlando, Tampa. Boca...etc.. but not Jacksonville and am wanting to do my research on it. Your post really helped a lot and confirmed a lot of my thoughts about it being an amazing place. Thank you I highly appreciate this post!

Peace in the Mounatins -
9/14/2014I've lived in California, Mexico, Spain, Miami ,Fl and in a couple cities in New Mexico and now I've lived in Cloudcroft, NM for almost one year now. It is a quant little village in the mountains surrounded by the Lincoln National Forest. I absolutely love it here the people are very nice and friendly and we have the best school in the state of New Mexico. It's a great place to raise children if you want to raise them to in a place where you can still send your 8 year old to walk and get a gallon of milk while being safe, a place where kids are not rain washed by the materialistic things of technology because they are playing in the mountains, caping and having the pure ol fun that is not found in todays modern society. Now Cloudcroft is a village of only 700 people and its a tourist attraction for Texans that have their summer or winter vacation home here. Most people who live here are either retirees or people who have left the corporate world to settle down and open up a shop in town or simply to live in peace without traffic or rude people. This village is highly sought out mainly because of the mountains and climate. Its cool all year around, its not abnormal to have 50 degree weather in July and though it does get some snow in the winter time, its not enough to make it inconvenient to live here. Last year we got 30 inches of snow and it was very pleasant. I would recommend this place to any one
