Away from the hustle and bustle of city life, Port Ludlow provides an idyllic setting for those seeking peace and tranquility.
The local businesses in town include the Port Ludlow Marina & Boatyard, The Inn at Port Ludlow, the Port Ludlow Golf Club & Community Center, and numerous retail stores and restaurants within walking distance from each other. Year-round outdoor activities include hiking trails for all levels of hikers, boating on beautiful Hood Canal or sailing to nearby islands, kayaking or canoeing around the town's bay frontage, biking along serene country roads or challenging mountain bike trails as well as whale watching tours out of both Port Townsend and Port Angeles. There are also several organizations and clubs to join such as the Chamber of Commerce which works hard to promote business growth in the area. For sports enthusiasts there are pickleball tournaments throughout the year as well as golf tournaments at the Port Ludlow Golf Club & Community Center.
