One of the most unique things about Manitowoc is its local businesses which provide residents with unique shopping experiences. These include The Cheese Haus where visitors can enjoy gourmet cheeses and The Pink Llama Boutique that offers an eclectic selection of clothing and accessories. There are also many year-round outdoor activities for residents to take part in such as fishing, kayaking, bird watching, beachcombing and biking along trails in Lincoln Park.
In addition to all these activities there are several organizations dedicated to bringing community together which includes the Downtown Manitowoc Organization whose mission is to promote business development downtown while improving public spaces and fostering community pride. Additionally, there are plenty of sporting events hosted in Manitowoc like youth baseball games at Optimist Park or high school football games at Rocky Bleier Field. All these things make Manitowoc one of Wisconsin’s great places to live!
