Telluride, Colorado is a beautiful mountain town located in the San Juan Mountains. With a population of only 2,593, it has a distinctly small-town feel and residents enjoy a slower pace of life. Despite the small population, there are many businesses that cater to locals and visitors alike. Telluride Ski Resort is well known for its world-class ski resort with year-round outdoor activities ranging from skiing and snowboarding in the winter to hiking and biking in the summer months. Other local business include Telluride Brewing Company which is one of the most popular brew pubs in town, Oak which serves up delicious breakfast burritos, and Brown Dog Pizza which offers some of the best pizza around. Other organizations in Telluride include Telluride Historical Museum which hosts events and lectures throughout the year as well as Mountainfilm in Telluride which is an annual film festival highlighting documentary films about nature, culture, adventure and more. There are also a few annual sporting events held in Telluride such as The Ride Festival which features four days of music from some of today's top entertainers as well as The Tour de France bike race which takes place every July.
