Connecticut is home to a diverse and vibrant array of religious congregations. From large churches in cities like Hartford and Bridgeport, to small rural chapels throughout the state, the Connecticut religious landscape is diverse and expansive. The Catholic Church has a particularly strong presence throughout the state, with dozens of parishes offering Mass in multiple languages. The Episcopal, Methodist, Presbyterian and Lutheran denominations also have a number of active churches in the state.
