Ojo Caliente, New Mexico is a small town located in Rio Arriba County. It has a population of just over 700 people and is known for its hot springs, which have been used by Native Americans for centuries. Among the local religious congregations in Ojo Caliente are United Methodist Church, First Presbyterian Church of Ojo Caliente, Christ the King Lutheran Church, and Santa Cruz Catholic Church. The United Methodist Church was established in 1894 as the first faith-based community in Ojo Caliente and has been hosting weekly services ever since.
