Nanwalek, AK is a small rural village located on the Kenai Peninsula. The village is home to around 250 residents, most of whom are native Alaskan. Although Nanwalek is a small village, it has its own school district which offers primary education to local children. The school district includes two public schools: Nanwalek Elementary/High School and Port Graham Elementary School. Both of these schools offer excellent educational programs that have been rated highly by both parents and educators in the area. They provide students with a safe learning environment where they can develop academically, personally, and socially. In addition to their academic offerings, the schools also offer extracurricular activities for students interested in sports or art. All in all, the Nanwalek school district provides quality education for its citizens and gives them the opportunity to make something of themselves despite living in such a remote location.
