Dugger, IN is a small rural town located in Sullivan County. The town has three schools within the community, including Dugger Union Elementary School, Sullivan High School, and Dugger Union Jr. Sr. High School. Dugger Union Elementary School is a public school that serves students in grades pre-kindergarten through sixth grade. It has an excellent rating from the Indiana Department of Education and features small class sizes and a strong focus on core educational subjects such as English language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, and foreign language classes. Sullivan High School is also a public school that provides access to more than 100 innovative course offerings for students in grades 7-12. The school has many technological resources available to support learning such as computer labs, Smartboards in classrooms, and online courses. Finally, Dugger Union Jr. Sr High School is a private Christian school that offers college preparatory courses for students in grades 7-12 with an emphasis on spiritual development and biblical principles. Each of these schools are committed to providing quality education for the residents of Dugger and its surrounding areas.
