Rosepine, LA is a small rural town in Vernon Parish with a population of approximately 1,500 people. Despite its small size, the town has a number of local schools that have been rated highly by the Louisiana Department of Education. The local grade schools provide excellent academic education to its students and focus on preparing them for higher education while also fostering strong social relationships and responsible citizenship. The high school also provides challenging courses in all areas, including Advanced Placement classes and career-technical courses. Rosepine High School’s sports teams are highly competitive with other schools throughout the state, often competing for championships in track and field, golf, tennis, baseball/softball and basketball. With a dedicated faculty and staff members, Rosepine High School helps to ensure that each student can reach their full potential while engaging in extra-curricular activities outside of the classroom.
