Waldwick, NJ is a small borough located in Bergen County. It is home to many excellent local schools that have earned impressive ratings. Waldwick’s public school system includes five elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. According to the School Report Card issued by the New Jersey Department of Education for the 2017-2018 school year, all of these schools have achieved proficiency levels well above the state average in English Language Arts/Literacy and Mathematics. The district has also been awarded various awards for its commitment to providing a quality education for its students. Furthermore, Waldwick’s public schools provide numerous extracurricular activities and resources that further enrich students’ experiences. From cheerleading and robotics clubs to student organizations dedicated to service learning and community engagement, there are plenty of opportunities for students to get involved with their peers and explore their interests outside the classroom.
