Athena, OR Schools

Athena, OR is a small rural community located in the Umatilla County School District in eastern Oregon. The school district has two schools – Athena Elementary and Athena Jr./Sr. High School – both of which are highly rated by families and peers alike. Athena Elementary is a K-5th grade school that focuses on providing a safe and stimulating learning environment for its students. With smaller class sizes and dedicated teachers, students feel comfortable learning and growing as individuals. Athena Jr./Sr. High School provides an excellent middle-high school education to its students while also focusing on college/career readiness. The high school offers college courses through dual credit options, career technical education programs, and various extracurricular activities such as sports teams, music ensembles, clubs, and more. Both schools aim to provide a comprehensive educational experience to their students that encourages academic growth and personal development in the process.
