9/17/2012parentThe principle is very rude & the children are scared of him!!!! The teachers are awesome .even the secretary is very pleasant. They just really need a different principle!!!!!! My sons so scared of him because of the way he treats the other children I have a hard time getting him to go to school!!!!!
11/16/2011parent Absolutely wonderful school. Never saw a principal work harder for their kids!!! Great teachers and staff. Programs are all inclusive, students are excited and encouraged!! Wish we had not moved to a different school. We truly miss Foley elementary. My girls attended from K through 4th, and one from K thru some of second before moving. wish we were still there.
10/14/2009parentFoley Elementary has the best teachers and Principal! Each day is filled with creative and innovative learning. Students from Special Needs classes through the Fourth Grade are truly shining stars! FES has genuine school spirit!!
10/13/2009parentWe have to best teachers and principle. They are all very caring and have the children's best interest at heart. Everything they do is for the students. They make learning fun and that is why the students learn so much. I am honored to have my child attend Foley Elementary.
10/13/2009parentI love Foley Elementary because it has a staff that really cares about each and every student!
9/7/2009otherFoley Elementary School is one of the most beautiful schools I've seen. The building and grounds have wonderful curb appeal and are welcoming. The halls and classrooms gleam with the work of excited students and caring teachers. The buzz of learning is evident and volunteers are very well utilized and made to feel welcome. I love helping out at this school and encourage anybody who wants to give back to the community to do so as well!
8/19/2009parentWOW is one word that sums up Foley Elementary School. I am not only a teacher at Foley, but also a parent. My children are receiving the most extensive, quality education they can have. The staff are amazing and go above and beyond for the children. They truly love each and every child that walks through their classroom door. I couldn't ask for a better education for my children.
4/16/2008parentFoley Elementary Is a great school in a great community!
1/30/2008parentFoley Elementary is a great school. As the parent of a Kindergartener, I could not be more pleased. Foley is a big school with a small town feel. The teachers go out of their way for the kids, and they keep up to date on the newest teaching practices. The administration is always willing to do whatever they can for the children and their parents.
12/23/2007parentFoey Elementary School is a a good school in a good community. everyone works hard to ensure that all children learn. We can't wait until our new school building is finished in December 2008!
7/18/2007parentFantastic teachers and administrators who cherish the students and focus on making them safe, loved and productive!
7/18/2007otherThe dedication and caring that pours forth from each staff member at Foley Elementary is nothing short of 'unbelievable.' A true sense or Heartfelt Love and Caring is evident in every loving touch, smile and technique used in the classroom. The administrator is vey positive and supportive of all students and teachers: which is evident in his constant move toward finding the resources needed to provide the extra supports to effectively meet the challenges of an ever increasing ELL population and an aging facility. There is no better place to be! The heart of teaching is felt in every fiber!
2/24/2007parentI am not happy with the principal at Foley elementary. He does not provide a warm and friendly relationship with the students. The teacher are excellent and that is what truely makes Foley Elementary the positive place it is.
1/17/2006parentI am the parent of a first grader at Foley Elementary and I have to say that I am more than pleased with the performance of her teachers and the individual attention she receives. It's great when your child wakes up and actually wants to go to school to be with her teacher and her friends.
10/26/2005parentI do not like the emphasis that is placed on speed reading. I have two children that attend Foley - one reads really fast, but causes careless mistakes in other subjects; the other reads slow but makes great grades in everything else. Many of the teachers do not like the DIBELS testing either but must use it. It sad that a child in second grade cannot make an 'A' if he cannot read a word a second, but has excellent comprehension.
8/4/2005parentthey best s.l.d. i see in a while special need kids are happier and do so much better in one then mobile al. schools do with them. teachers are great twith them. they got a great p.t and o.t.there. they got great aids in classrooms.everybody shows the love.
7/11/2005parentAs the parent of a child with medical problems enrolled in foley elementary school I couldn't be more proud of the care and education my child receives. Not only can I rest easy knowing she is well cared for in school with her medical problems, the teachers and staff are excellent with their teaching skills and love for the children. They work hard to make sure the kids love learning and are equal to any school any where. My child is extreamly lucky to have this quality of school here. I recommend this school to any parent of any child.
5/29/2005parentFoley Elementary is a wonderful school. The whole staff is focused on reading and work hard to get kids excited about it too.I have three children in this school and they all read above their grade level. They also look forward to going to school everyday and hate to see summer arrive. I rate this school and its staff a 10. So if you are looking to put your child in a wonderful school where the teachers enjoy teaching this is the school for you. Brandy
4/21/2005parentThis is a great school. Our Kindergarden tied for first place on their reading this year in Baldwin County. We are very proud of them. The Teachers at Foley are VERY caring and go the extra mile for their students. I have two children there and I am very pleased with the way the school is handled and the academic programs. Dr. Lawrence (the Principal) is the most laid-back, enjoyable principle I have ever been around. They have great music, science and PE classes too. The PTA is building and we are really encourageing parent involvement inside the classrooms as well as around the school. Please, come join us!
