We were dissatisfied with a variety of policies & approaches to the education of our children, so we removed them to attend a public charter school. After 3 years there, we realized they were NOT receiving the well-rounded program we were led to believe they would get. In a frenzy to find something suitable going into this past school year ('09-'10), we found this program, which partners with the Mesa Distance Learning Program. Unlike the description on this webpage, this IS a program that covers all grades, from K-12. We have loved the flexibility of our experience this year. Each of our children have progressed at a steady pace & are becoming truly independent learners. There are technical glitches, but overall this is a strong program & worth considering if you are fed up with a 'regular' school environment. |
