| 10/29/2009 | parent | My son just started kindergarten this year & is in Miss Breier's class. She is so caring and nice. She truly wants my son to do better in all aspects of his education! |
| 5/28/2008 | parent | Wonderful school! My daughter and I love Mrs. Betts. The staff is awesome. |
| 8/11/2006 | parent | My son struggled greatly in the school, but because I had many people looking into what was wrong, we found out my son had a lower level of Autism. The school never made me feel like a problem or a hassle even though we had to have meeting after meeting and doctor visits. They stuck with me all the way and helped me get my son into a program that would help him succeed. I am so grateful for them. Thank you! |
| 8/9/2004 | parent | I have had student at Desert View for 8 years (including pre-school). The principal is wonderful caring and involved. Most of all the teachers are all dedicating, loving and hard working. This school small and is a diamond in the rough. I cannot say enough about the staff of this school and all the extra benefits they provide. They have always made me feel at home and as if they care about my child. It is a safe learning environment and the children are usually all very kind! |
| 3/27/2003 | | Desert View is a really nice school. It has a high hispanic population, and a large portion of our student population is Spanish speaking. The gifted population is somewhat low, and students who are in this range may not necessarily be as challenged as they might be in other areas. The teachers are very dedicated to the students of Desert View and truly care for them. They often go above and beyond, and often pay out of their own pocket when students have basic needs such as clothing, school supplies, etc. |
