| 5/29/2010 | other | I am 19 now, But I remember my years at Mountain View in 1996 when it was located somewhere else and It was nice. This school was the best in my years and I also remember The Cinco de Mayo dances that I was in. Miss the years at Mountain View But thanks to thoughs years I learned a lots. |
| 4/30/2010 | parent | When my children first attended this school for Kindergarten 3 years ago this school seemed to be on the up and up. I was really impressed with the staff and was sad to have to leave, however we returned to the area for their 2nd grade year and I am not very impressed at all. I now have 3 children attending and the lack of communication between the staff and myself about important events is disturbing. I have a niece attending that is graduating this year and there has not been one sent home about her 'promotion' as they are calling it. They are expecting her to repeat everything to me and it comes home in a jumbled mess. Not to mention that I never received a call back after numerous calls to her teacher about a book she was given to bring home and the content of such said book. |
| 10/9/2009 | parent | this is my son's 1st year of school, he started about a month after school has started because we were out of the country, i feel the he has learned a lot even dough he was a lil behind and missed some lessons that got tought at the begining of the year, like learning to write his name. but i love that the teacher took the time to send me extra homework for him to practice and get up to date. i cant wait for the parrent teacher conferences so i can know exacly how my son in doing in school. i also like the changes that were made for the students parrent drop off bay. last year there was a lot of activity with the walking parrents and the driving parrents all at the same time. the best part is that my son says loves school, cant beat that! |
| 6/3/2009 | student | This school is really improving. I love this school and I miss it very much. The teachers are great and nice. They also strive students to do their best, epecially the upper grade teachers. |
| 8/11/2008 | parent | This school is getting better! Rules are being enforced and everyone is orderly. Today was the first day and I noticed a huge change in behavior. I was very happy with this school's performance!!! |
| 4/1/2007 | parent | I am very happy with my childs education at Mountain View Elementary. He tells me everyone is great and especially likes gym with Coach Polk. He told me what a wonderful job she does teaching. Keep up the good work. |
| 12/8/2004 | parent | I as a parent am not thrilled with this school. My child is in kindergarten and I think they are expecting too much from children that are 5-6 years old. |
| 10/15/2002 | | I've found that if you are really concerned about your child's education and you tell your child's teacher up front at the beginning of the year, you're in for a great experience. The teachers communicate regularly with me and my son is doing very well. My child has some mild learning disabilities and the teachers are appreciative if you tell them up front. Most teachers do not get support for their student's parents and it's frustrating to them. Get involved and stay involved. They are very caring and really concerned that you child is succeeding in school. |
