10/10/2011parentI love this school for my daughter!! We moved from Albuquerque New Mexico and when she started atthis school she was at kinder level (She was at the end of 1st grade) When she finished in the Summer she was where she was supposed to be!!!
7/20/2009parentthis school is good my girl has gone to this school from 2 nd grade to 6th grade and she3 loves it !!! but they need to give out more homework .
11/19/2008otherVery nice staff and all around great school...
10/24/2008parentThis is my updated review (1st in 2006). I still like the school and the teachers. My Daughter is in Miss Mariani's class this year and loves her teacher - and to me that is what makes a huge diference in a child's education. My daughter is motivated despite the load of homework she is getting this year (little to none homework from K to 2nd grade). I work with her every night on getting her home work done and that is what every parent should do if they want their child to secceed (instead of blaiming the teachers and the school for not providing with quality education). Miss Mariani has been great in comunicating with me. My daughter also loves Mrs Peterson - the Project Potential teacher and all the fun and very educational activities they do in her class. Only giving **** due to the lack of extraculicular activities.
10/23/2008parentThis school has great teachers and great teachers to come i know. My daughter just loves it!
6/25/2008parentTeachers are great--but ELL really ruins the education for everyone else who can speak english-- They need seperate classes for all ELL and More $$ to fund it!!!
5/7/2008parentI have to say that this school has greatly disappointed me in regards to the level of education given to my son. He is in 6th grade and comes home w/ no homework from his teacher or from the gifted program teachers. I am informed that testing is going to take place for both regular and gifted program and nothing ever comes of it. It also seems that his teacher is more interested in playing games than teaching our children. I really wish that I would have known that it was this bad before I enrolled my son there.
4/2/2008parentThe new kindergarten teachers there are great. My child loves her class.
5/7/2007parentRoadrunner is a good school with very caring teachers. I do wish more extracurricular activities were available, such as band and other arts programs.
11/1/2006parentOverall I'm pleased with the school & I don't have anything bad to say on the academics side except that I do believe that the kids should have PE more than once a week. My daughter is in Miss. Marianni 3rd grade class and absolutely loves her. My daughter takes lunch everyday & I noticed that she does not finish her lunch and when asked she said that the kids have to eat in a hurry. Thanks Veronika
5/21/2006parentThe academic programs at Roadrunner have improved over the last year due to the hard work of the RCA program raising funds to bring back a full time music teacher. A new art teacher and other dedicated staff have made Roadrunner one of the most caring campuses I know.
8/3/2005parentRoadrunner provides an invironment where parents are encouraged to participate in the planning and direction of the school and it's programs. The staff is helpful and willing to maintain open communication with parents to assure the most productive environment for all students. For my son who has had behavioral problems, the staff has worked hard with me and my son to assure that he is in the best environment to encourage not only his accademic progress, but his behavioral progress as well. Even when I was only on campus a few times the past year the staff seemed to remember me and be genuinely interested in what was best for my kids.
7/18/2005parentOkay school. Needs to separate 'unruly' opionions of students and let kids be kids. Too many kids influenced by the outside and try to bring it to the school as in gangs attire etc. I love the Kindergarten teachers and the 4th grade.
4/5/2005parentBoth my son & I love this school & 1st grade teacher Mrs. Parker.
1/19/2005parentVery attentive and caring staff. My son is having a wonderful learning experience.
3/27/2003 It's not a great school but for the Washington elementary district it's not too painful...some of the staff are either befuddled by the sheer numbers of students or they just were not too bright to begin with..
