| 4/20/2011 | parent | my child was bullied in Barling, and made out to be the bully. The principle witnessed the name calling of my child and did nothing. It got so bad that I ended up transfering my child to another school. Maybe the experience would have been better had we been in the school from.the very begining instead of starting.the first semester of 5th grade. |
| 11/8/2010 | other | At Barling, the Principal, teachers, and staff love the children, and treat them with dignity and respect. Teachers go out of their way to teach the subject matter in interesting ways that motivate and reach all levels of academic ability. |
| 9/18/2006 | parent | My child is now in the 4th grade at Barling. We have had wonderful teachers in all grades. The principal knows every child and parent by name and does a great job with firm discipline combined with caring. I have substituted in the school district and I feel that this school is in the top 5% of elementary schools in this district. We are very happy with the staff, the special teachers are excellent and the school has just the right amount of school-sponsored activities without overwhelming the parent with something every week. The activities are placed throughout the year and the children seem to really like participating. Highly recommend this school! |
| 5/8/2006 | parent | I think that this school has one of the most parent involvement that I have ever seen. The extracurricular activites are great here. |
