6/29/2007parentWe moved from the bay area from a private school and Dudley has been exceptional and met all my expectations.
5/19/2007parentOverall, this school has been a great place for my daughter to learn and grow. She is extremely intelligent, and all of her teachers have really pushed her and kept her excited about what she is learning. Recently, my daughter had an accident at school (no fault of the schools), and I will have to say that this school reacted in a quick, professional, and caring way towards my daughter. I was completely blown away at the quickness of their actions. I now know that I can always count on my daughter being safe and cared for in the event something should happen to her again. The principal and teacher both called my home to check on my daughter, and seemed very concerned. These people care about the children and their jobs, so I feel very ecstatic that my child has the opportunity to attend this school.
5/18/2006parentMy children loved their teachers at Dudley. I'd heard great things about the school, but learned first hand, for 3 years. Both my kids excelled with the focused attention from their teachers in K-5th! Excellent.
11/28/2005administratorMy name is Mike Jordan and I have served as the principal at Dudley Elementary School since the 2004-2005 school year. If you have any comments, questions or concerns, please contact me at 916-338-6470. Thank you.
5/16/2005parentI am very pleased with the accademics and all around child scholastic development at Dudley Elementary School. The teachers, thus far, have been very involved by phone, email, and or letters home concerning my daughter wether it be about something good or something that needs a little more attention from me. My daughter is very happy there as well, which I think, says a lot.
2/15/2005parentGreat school. Wonderful caring staff. Great kids. Great place to work and volunteer.
11/15/2004parentMrs. Baca is an amazing teacher for the K class. My daughters growth in just these few short months has been incredible.
6/13/2004parentMy kids received a great education - but I think the office staff is very lax on discipline with kids who are repeat offenders. However, the teachers are caring and supportive of the kids and I do feel it is a safe environment & a great school overall.
8/11/2003parentThe Center Unified School District Board of Trustee's has not miss managed the funds. I have been very involved with the district budget process this year. The State has left very little funding in place for our schools. I also know that there is a 31 student limit on class sizes in Elementary with 1St. and 2nd grade keeping class size reduction allowing those grades to stay at 20 or below for their student count. Center is a great district and I am glad my students have the benefit of the excellent staff.
6/14/2003 Dudley Elementary and Center School District have traditionally been very strong academically. Unfortunately, the current school board has mismanaged their finances, and there will be massive teacher layoffs. Beginning in August 2003, Kindergarten and 3rd grade classes will have as many as 35 students per teacher, compared with 20-to-1 in all other districts in the Sacramento area.
