| 8/4/2012 | teacher | Teachers at Buford are dedicated to kids and work extremely hard. High academic standards have been set. |
| 2/2/2011 | teacher | Students need to be given the opportunity to learn. I as a former student in the district learned in both English and in Spanish. Besides once you enter high school don't you have to take another language besides English to graduate. Besides according to the history this used to be Mexico. So get your facts straight! |
| 4/10/2006 | parent | Excellent! I really like the curriculum, which is is 'on-point' and appropriate. The large Hispanic population is a great environment for my 5th-grasder to feel comfortable in. |
| 9/5/2005 | parent | This is a great school. Staff members work together for the well being of all children. Wonderful School. |
| 8/17/2005 | parent | I think buford Elemantry is a great school. But needs more teacher's and small amount of kids in one class. Its just not working out. |
| 1/12/2005 | parent | I heard a concerned mother on the radio yesterday. She stated that her 8 year old was forced to write a letter to the governor reference allowing illegal aliens to obtain drivers licenses. The mother stated that your schools response was that the children had picked the topic, which frankly is ridiculous. She also stated that the teacher teachs the kids in spanish. What is going on in that school. How on earth does your school expect the kids to adapt to American society if that can't speak the language. Also, schools are for teaching the kids to read (in english), writing (in english) and arithmitic, not a forum for personal political beliefs. I'm sure you would feel the same way if your children were being taught some religion you did not beleive in. Please stop teaching the children in spanish and leave your political views out of the classroom. |
| 7/17/2004 | parent | Buford has gone through some changes since the new principal began a couple of years ago. These changes were for the better. The children were better behaved and more relaxed. And nothing compares to their enriching arts! I am proud to have my children as part of CCS! Thanks to all the staff for making Buford a great school! |
