| 8/21/2009 | parent | Good Job Green HIlls Elementry! I have two boys in this school. Just find out that this year GH 2nd grader got the best SAT result among all the elelenentry schools in Millbrae. |
| 8/20/2009 | parent | I had one daughter that is attending GHS this year (going to 4th grade). We love this school, The teachers the principle (new but a great one) are all care about our children education. The parents and the PTA all eager to help. We had last year a great 50th birthday for GHS and was great since every one help. |
| 11/29/2007 | parent | My daughter is in the 3rd grade and joined this school 3 weeks late after school opened. One thing that struck me was how well-mannered the children here are. Dr. Toy, the principal, is dynamic and very hands-on. Mr. Grassi, who is my daughter's teacher, is very approachable. He has incentives for every Friday so the kids are even more motivated to study and do their homeworks. My daughter is very happy here and of course so am I. It would be wonderful if they extend till beyond grade 5...:) |
| 12/18/2005 | parent | Our daughter had a wonderful kindergarten teacher named Ms. Davis at GHS. She is firm but kind and kept a large group of kids interested in learnining and attentive. In general all of the K teachers seem very dedicated and the principal is wonderful. The teachers try valiantly to fill in the gaps due to the absence of PE, music, art, language and other speciality teachers resulting from the gross underfunding of CA schools. An active parent organization helps supplement their limited resources, so they do a lot with a little. The after-school childcare by Happy Hall is chaotic but enjoyable and caring. All in all an 'A' for effort, but we decided to go with private school. |
| 3/3/2005 | parent | This is a great school for many reasons: 1) Teachers are dedicated to their work. 2) Location can't be beat. 3) Safe |
| 3/3/2005 | student | This school has been a wonderful experience for our family. |
| 9/8/2003 | other | The families in our neighborhood have all attended Green Hills Elementary. The parents are highly complimentary about the attention and instruction their children receive. The young adults in the area attend colleges throughout California. Their parents continue to talk of the experiences at Green Hills. It is a school where there is great parent involvement and families feel that their children get individualized attention. The teachers and staff show a committment to the success of their students. |
