They teachers are very supportive and really want to see your child at his/hers best. They truly want your child to become well rounded individuals. |

The teachers are warm, and professional and truly care about making a difference in my child's education. The best part about Peach Hill is that it is the ONLY school who is committed to Core Knowledge Cirriculum. This cirriculum is deisgend to help each child learn and build their learning from what tey alrready know -- core knowledge. Knowledge builds on knowledge. Children learn new knowledge by building on what they already know. Only a school system that clearly defines the knowledge and skills required to participate in each successive grade can be excellent and fair for all students. For this reason, the Core Knowledge Sequence provides a clear outline of content to be learned grade by grade. This sequential building of knowledge not only helps ensure that children enter each new grade ready to learn, but also helps prevent the many repetitions and gaps that characterize much current schooling. |

The curriculum of Core Knowledge is especially helpful if you have twins - as each class teaches very similar content. One of my children has Dyslexia - and I have found the process of getting her help very frustrating - but I think that is a problem with public schools, not this particular school itself. |

Her reading level improved substantially and I can't believe how well she reads for a 6 year old. Teachers are wonderful and this community is very involved with their children in every way! |

Mrs. Welch,princ, is the best, very involved, committed to strong readers and has the energy/enthusiasm of a cheerleader (way to go, mrs. Welch.) Teachers are excellent, enjoy the kids. Discipline/behavior/school pride are outstanding. We had to relocate away from peach hill may 2006 and I'm still grieving the loss! If you're moving into this district, worry no more. All the schools are good. |

I am one of them, and I am amazed at what they learn on a daily basis. The Principal (Mrs. Welch) is very caring and personable, she often has treats for the kids when they accomplish milestones in their reading minutes. My child loves to read. Core knowledge allows the students to learn about different subjects (at their grade level) and continue to build on what they already know as they get older - geography, art, history, literature, music - all by participating in related activities that are hands on and very fun. My child is definitely thriving thanks to this school. |
