| 10/28/2012 | parent | St. Theresa is a wonderful school! It is safe, strong academically, instills kindness and leadership in each child, and has incredible support from the parent community. My children love going to school everyday. The school gathers together every morning for assembly and school announcements. Every year and some holidays, each class is responsible for leading the school in giving back to others. CYO sports are excellent and you cannot beat the after school care. Oh-and lets not forget the fabulous teachers-all excellent. |
| 10/1/2012 | parent | My kids are so happy at St. Theresa. They really enjoy going to school each day. The curriculum is strong and includes Spanish, computers, religion and art. There is also a fantastic buddy system for K and 1st graders where they are paired up with a 5th/6th grade mentor. It makes the younger kids feel so special and very included on campus. Each child at the school is also placed in a "family" and they go to mass together and do special activities together. What makes this so great is that all of the kids at St. Theresa know one another really well. The sports are also amazing. You can start Cross Country in K and then volleyball and basketball in 3rd/4th grades. The parent community is excellent and very involved. Overall, St. Theresa provides a very warm well-rounded experience that will definitely prepare your child for high school. We live in the Hillcrest district but choose St. T's instead. |
| 9/24/2012 | parent | We love this school. If you're looking for a community and a home, then this is the place. Very involved parent body, fantastic and approachable teachers, multimedia computer lab and a new gym. Beautiful campus with a great drop-off system in the morning. Afterschool program is perfect! |
| 7/31/2012 | parent | This is truly an excellent school. The teachers and administration are caring and provide a strong foundation of necessary coursework. The curriculum includes the teaching of foreign language beginning in Kindergarten. Teachers utilize technology in the classroom as well as a state of the art computer lab. The new event center/gym provides an excellent physical education venue. The Buddy system and faith families that team up younger students with older students is outstanding combined with the required service learning ensures your child will be well rounded and well prepared for High School. |
| 2/20/2010 | parent | The review from 2007 no longer reflect the state of the school. The current state of academics is variable through the grades. Would not recommend, this school feels everyone should fit in a box - no creative thinking or doing. |
| 12/16/2009 | parent | If you live in the neighborhood, St Theresa and Hillcrest are no different. Education is good, teacher turn over and leadership continue to be a problem. St Theresa has become more of a social club than a religious based education. Incredable after school care! |
| 3/28/2007 | parent | Solid academics and extracuricular activities. School is expanding within the next few years with Gym, library, etc. Parent involvement is extraordinary and quality of students is high. Highly recommended if you are looking for private parochial school. |
