| 3/12/2012 | parent | I am a parent and educator in another district. My son has been at Reagan for 5 years and I am very satisfied with the incredible opportunities, activities and most of all educational excellence he has experienced. The staff has always addressed my concerns and have done all they can to insure the success of the students. I feel very lucky to have the incredible principal and staff at my son's school. I know that he will have a strong foundation for his future middle school education. Thanks Reagan! |
| 3/11/2012 | parent | my son is a kindergartner here. and his teacher is very good has many years of expierence and does well keeping the advanced kids reading and the struggling kids up to level. The only reason i didnt give it an exelent is that the classes are a little big, but that is a statewide issue due to budgets-not a reflection on the school. i volunteer in the classroom and all of the children are respectful. |
| 2/21/2011 | parent | This is our first year at this school. We have never been more outraged. We informed the teacher our daughter struggles, and could use a little extra help and encouragement, only to have her forget, and tell us there is something is wrong with our child in front of other classmates and parents. She was humiliated. Then at parent teacher conferences her teacher informed us our child will fall through the cracks and she has "GIVEN UP". I addressed this issue with the principal and he did nothing but refer me to the school counselor. She gave me some hope. That didn t last long; she didn t follow up with meetings, tests, or any procedures to make sure my child s teacher was holding up her part to help our child. The administrative staff is no better. They are rude. I stood there for ten minutes while they carried on a conversation about a date one had, while using profanity with children and parents in the office. The only thing worse than the staff, is the P.T.O. Nothing is ever distributed on time. We missed out on events, fundraisers and school pictures. I would never recommend this school to anyone. This has got to be the worst school in the district! |
| 1/23/2010 | parent | Love this school! My daughter is a first grader and I have never met such a great teacher. The overall feeling is one of success and happiness. |
| 1/21/2010 | parent | I could not ask for anything more. I love the school and everyone that works so hard to do what they do for our children. It is a true blessing that we are so fortunate to have such a wonderful team. Thank you all for everything you are greatly appreciated!!!!! |
| 11/18/2009 | parent | This will be my daughter's second year here at Ronald Reagan and we are extremely pleased! Her teacher is wonderful and the atmosphere overall is one of determination. I think this school is headed in the right direction! The only issue I would focus on is the communication with the parents, as far as volunteering. A more personable team would make the parents feel more welcomed. Overall, great school. |
| 5/25/2009 | parent | The teachers are the best, the staff in the office is just awesome and we (parents) invest a little time in getting involved and helping our children with their homework, hey we will end up with geniuses. |
| 4/27/2009 | parent | My child had been there for 3 years and I'm very disappointed! My childs grades have suffered and I never thought I would say this but my daughter would be better off in a L.A SCHOOL DISTRICT. I would have to say they do try but, NOT good enough. Try Amelia Earhart, I wouldn't vouch for any other schools! |
| 8/31/2007 | parent | Brand new school. Great staff and excellent administration staff, especially principal Kim McLaughlin. |
| 5/22/2007 | parent | I have a first grader, the teacher has been phenomenal. She really knows how to challenge the kids and take them to a superior level. The Principal and staff have been great too! The school, since its new, has the latest in technology which benefit the kids. The only thing I could say about the school is that there is not much parent involvement. |
