He went to Gonzaga Preparatory High School in Spokane, WA for his freshman year and had a great year but he favors this school. He is enrolled in summer session and feels like he is back home with most of his elementary school friends. It is truly a great school. We are also so impressed by the colleges the first graduating class was accepted to! |

Xavier and the St. Ignatius teachings are about the 5 core values: openness to growth, a commitment to social justice, kindness and a loving compassion for others, religiouis and faithfulness to God and an intellectual competence. Our son is a sophomore this year and we have seen tremendous growth in him and his friends. Xavier is truly a home away from home. Not only do we see the students make it their home, we see that faculty, teachers and parents have made it theirs as well. There is a great sense of comfort knowing that our children are getting the best education there is out there to prepare them for college. Through discussions with other parents, we all our in accordance that there is no other school like this in our valley. The community events we hold are unbelievable and are done with true professionalism. We are all men and women for others! Go Saints!!! |

Even though our smarts are pretty great- tons of APs and honors courses, teachers that are willing to help you with work, etc. But it's more than that. We've got clubs galore that are filled with students that are passionate about all sorts of things. Sports are huge and we're building teams that are the conquerors of the future. And the fact that we focus on the curus personalis, the building of men and women for others- public service- is fantastic. Goooooo Saints! |

The principal and all of the teachers are passionate about education and are incredibly dedicated to forming young men and women with and for others. 50% of Xavier students receive some amount of need-based financial aid and some of them will be the first in their families to even consider going to college. The education and care for the individual that they have experienced at Xavier will send them off into the world well prepared to be not only good students, but good people.... |

I have two children there now and impressed by the relationships my children have created not only with their peers, but admin, teachers, and coaches. The main realization is that during this four year process for my now senior she has grown into a mature, faithful, person who strives to do things for others, and even when they have made mistakes they are learning to not only take ownership, but overcome, and learn from them. The higher academics, the growing athletic program, the religious and charity driven functions are all so strong...mix that with amazing support and spirit and the results are endless. |

Academics is very important to us and to the school but that is not the only thing the school focuses on. While attending Xavier the student learns to encompass a sense of faith, compassion, moral strength and commitment to others in there everyday life. Upon graduation the student leaves knowing that they are now ready to give back to the community that has helped them become the young adult they are today. I think this is every parents dream.
