| 8/25/2010 | parent | the principal is rude and very unprofessional. she does not know how to be polite, we had an argument in front of her staff and she would not apologize for her rude behavior, i will be taking this up with the school board. |

| 4/18/2006 | parent | Durfee is a California Distinguished School (scored above 700 API). But, aside from the award, the staff and teachers always go above and beyond to help parents or students. |
| 4/14/2006 | parent | Great school. Plenty of enrichment and after school programs. Highly qualified and caring teachers and staff. |
| 1/28/2006 | parent | As a child I went to this school. And I am pleased as a parent to see a great staff with a some parental involvement. |
| 7/2/2005 | parent | My younger brothers attended Durfee from kinder thru 5th grade. All of their teachers were extremely helpful, always available to meet with parents. They gave them the one on one attention required. After leaving Durfee they were placed in gifted classes in middle school. |
| 6/22/2005 | parent | While Durfee strives to provide a positive learning environment for its students, there is much that needs to be improved. The principal at Durfee currently serves at two school sites: Durfee and Obregon Elementary. Having a part-time principal means that parent and student concerns are handled by the office staff or overlooked. School uniforms are required attire. However, many students do not wear uniforms and are not penalized. This creates disharmony among the student body. |
| 8/26/2004 | parent | This school is excellent! Excellent teachers! This school has great pride in teaching the kids about college education, self recpect and fun learning. |
| 8/24/2004 | parent | I am very pleased with Durfee Elemenatary. Academically it is challenging the kids and doing its job and more for all levels of learning, including our slower learners and our gifted learners. Durfee offers many programs and it is one of the keys to the development of the kids. Parents get ready for all the homework given out. My children transferred here from St. Benedicts, a private school, and in comparison, Durfee is much, much better all around. Thanks to all of Durfee's teachers for giving your all and pushing our kids to do their best. Keep up the good work and parents keep reinforcing the efforts of our teachers. |
