| 10/22/2008 | student | I love this school. It had really great teachers and students. I cant believe this is my last year. Im going to miss this school alot. Go Bears!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
| 10/4/2008 | student | I love this school. It works hard to make sure each student gets the education they need for life. The teachers are hard working and dedicated. Great athletics, and has the only high school full orchestra in Riverside. Though its the oldest school in Riverside (over 100 years) its the best. Go Bears!!! |
| 9/9/2008 | parent | I have been so happy with everything with this school, so far!! |
| 8/23/2008 | parent | This is an excellent school and my child learned a lot this year, I'm so happy I chose this school!!!! |
| 7/20/2008 | student | This is a good school for me, but I would not be surprised if parents were dissatisfied. The teachers are good, but many of the students here don't care about their education. Some are disrespectful to teachers and many just don't care. If only there was a way that the school will make the kids want to learn. |
| 5/12/2008 | parent | This school has excellent AP courses and very good athletics. I would definitely keep my kids there and not let them transfer. Like they would anyway. 5 out of 5 for sure. |
| 8/26/2007 | parent | Safe school, great students and parental involvement, plenty of AP classes, only orchestra program in the district. Excellent history and literature teachers, math teaching quality poor, some ineffective teachers in chemistry. Assistance with college entrance nonexistent except for athletes and AVID students. communication with parents re student progress too little to be helpful. Has ridden on good demographics for too long, but new principal this year may mean changes. |
| 7/14/2007 | parent | its awesome! i heard great things about it, and if your children are HHA students, Poly will take them and get this, they dont have 2 take a sophmere class! So please chose Poly! |
| 11/11/2006 | parent | Uncaring environment. School on a steady decline, lack of administration accountability |
| 5/24/2006 | former student | I think this is one of the best schools in the riverside area by far! |
| 10/16/2005 | former student | The school is very academic. Teachers are caring and eager to help students who sturggle. |
| 10/3/2005 | parent | my daughter is an enetering freshman.so far she likes the school well. she is a gate student, and enjoys the gate program.sometimes it appears that the amount of homework expected is a little excessive.she feels the teachers are sound.she enjoys the sports program. |
| 8/23/2005 | parent | Very good schooling and teachers. |
| 8/19/2005 | parent | Clean school. I have my son in advanced classes, therefore I feel he's getting a higher level of education. |
| 2/1/2005 | parent | Great New Comers Program. I adopted my nephew from Mexico, he has been in school one semester and had learned so much English, and he loves his school. They offer a great program with awesome instructors. |
| 11/28/2004 | parent | My daughter is a junior at this school. There are very qualified teachers here in Language Arts (literature) and foreign language. I'm disappointed, though, in the quality of math and science teachers. History teachers (AP) are very qualified and high caliber teachers. |
