| 9/1/2012 | other | As a graduate of St. Francis I can say this school is exceptional. It has the most amazing environment and the absolute best teachers. I received the best high school education I could have here and the money my parents spent was beyond well worth it. It truly is a loving and caring community of girls I am proud to call my sisters for life! It is definitely not your typical high school experience due to it being all girls and very academically demanding but this is what makes it such a great school and I wouldn t have traded it for anything. The classes are a perfect size to get to know pretty much every one of your classmates, which made it so nice. Going to this school was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life and I would be more than willing to move back to Sacramento just to send my girls here some day so they can have the amazing high school experience I had. |

The girls here are very competitive and ambitious, and the school supports and pushes those traits. As a student, I have found amazing friends and teachers who support me inside class and outside of school. If a girl puts time and effort into the school, she will never be left behind or left out. |
| 3/10/2010 | parent | As far as academics go, this school really is fantastic. They expect a lot from the girls and the girls gain so much as a result. My oldest daughter's first year of college was truly effortless as opposed to her newly made friends. I had heard this for several years and now know it first hand. I do have to say that there is a mean spirit within the girls at SF. There ARE groups of 'popular' girls that can be exceptionally mean to many. Nothing is done by the administration to stop these cliques. It certainly isn't Christain behavior. Before my girls enrolled at SF we questioned the administration about cliques, exclusions, bullying and we were ASSURED that none of that was allowed. It's not that this behavior isn't noticed---it is and it's pathetic that the choice is to do nothing about it. Very sad. |

| 12/9/2009 | student | 'Sf is too hard' only because some girls aren't willing to work hard. If you come to this school, you have to be prepared to challenge yourself and push yourself beyond what you believe you can do. I have learned invaluable lessons about myself and how much i can truly accomplish because of the curriculum and expectations of this school. I have met some amazing, ambitious girls who have taught me about passion for service and taking pride in your work. Every teacher I have encountered is supportive and truly loves this school. I highly recommend this school for girls who want to see just how far your mind and will can really take you, as well as those who want to expereince a true school family. |

They stress finding and being yourself, but the rules don't allow that to actually happen. A lot of classes found at other high schools aren't offered at SF, like photography and psychology, and a lot of what is taught isn't truly Christian - for a school affiliated with a religion that teaches acceptance, love and kindness, they don't demonstrate it nearly as well as they should. |

| 12/17/2008 | student | ISf is a great school if you want your daughter to become an adult in a safe enviroment. during my years here i have experienced many joys and sorrows, as well as made many mistakes. If i had made half of the mistakes that i have while attending a public school, i'm not so sure that i would have pulled through. The teachers and staff genuinely care about the students who attend SF, and will go out of their way to make sure a student is doing well. True, the classes are extremely demanding, but in the end it's worth it because SF actually prepares you for the real world as well as expects the best from the students. If you want to prepare your daughter for college, and do it well, you will find no better school than SF. |

Through all the preparation of these young ladies, the future will be quite successful & a lot easier to attain. The academics are extraordinary along with the expectations. Sports? SF excels with sports. Places that could use improvement? There can be a mean spirit which emanates from several groups of 'popular,' arrogant girls, down right mean actually. And nothing is done to stop/prevent this. The administration seems to prefer to close its eyes to this big problem. Also needing improvement is returned communication from staff(and friendliness from the front office). We've had lack of returned communication frequently- can be very frustrating. We won't leave the school. Overall, our daughter really likes it. What we've come down to is; take advantage of the academics & great sports' programs--and we will be persistent with the administration. |

I can say that I learned many of my morals and beliefs about the world around me through my religious and English teachers when I was there. My religious teacher taught me to look at the meanings behind the words in the Bible, and my English teacher taught me to look at the meanings behind the words to everyday songs. Cutting out boys during school cuts down on distractions, but girls can be very mean. I also learned a detailed amount about my body that prepared me for later in the sex ed classes. Going to this school is well worth it. |

The curriculum and advanced classes available to students allows them to prepare for college. After graduating from this school, college may seem like a breeze because high school was MORE difficult and challenging. The school cares about each and every student. All students are tracked and supported the entire four years they spend at this high school. No student gets the chance to fall through the cracks. The teachers and staff want every student to succeed and will go to great lengths to see that happen. |

Emphasis on social skills, academics and sports; it is all in one package. If your daughter is not prepared to work, then this school is not for you. On the other hand you will be pleased to see the net result of four years of education at graduation. A great atmosphere and highly recommended. St. Francis graduates become leaders in their college's and universities and become a 'credit' to their community as they progress into adulthood.
