I am also a staff member, but my oldest did attend a different elementary school within the district for a few years before transferring to McKevett. The art projects and school performances just help enhance the students learning. My whole family has enjoyed being a part of the McKevett Family! |

Every teacher knows practically every student which helps student accountability. We have received honorable mention as a Distinguished school, the Shining Star School award for SB65, and Title I Award. Our test scores have risen and we currently have the highest API Scores in our district. We constantly strive to improve our student's academic performance while our magnet focus in the visual and performing arts helps to maintain a creative atmosphere in which the students can grow as individuals. I thoroughly enjoy working with my colleagues at McKevett and highly recommend it to the members of the Santa Paula Community. |

The teachers are well prepared in all areas of the curriculum and devote their time and love to the students. It offers after school homework assistance and individual piano lessons for those who are interested. The principal sets an amazing example through her own dedication and commitment to the school. Two of my sons are currently attending and I'm pleased with the educational and artistic experiences they are both receiving. Because of its architecture, its grounds, its bulletin boards, the school is beautiful to look at. |
