| 9/10/2012 | parent | Awesome, Love the school and the staff. Very friendly and work with passion. My second graders still have fond memories of pre-k with the projects and how they learned to read and write which is very reassuring to the parents that they have been nurtured well in school academically and emotionally. |
| 8/20/2012 | parent | Stratford is very unfair to parents and kids for charging 2 months of tuition as penalty for withdrawal ($3K). It is terrible as a school that teaches kids fairness and justice. Challenger and other top private schools do not do such thing. They will only charge for school days actually attended instead of imposing unfair penalty for early withdrawal. |
| 3/26/2012 | parent | My Son goes to school here and has been going since he was 3 yrs old. He is now going to Kindergarten this fall and he loves it. We like this school so much because they have a challenging curicullum and great teachers. We are impressed on what my son had learned since he was 3 yrs. old. The teachers are great and the staff overall are friendly. They have a nice campus. I feel safe with the amount of security they have. It is worth your money and I think its worth it. I recommend this school if you can afford it and for those that cannot afford it please do not trash the school and give them bad rating. |
| 3/23/2012 | parent | Great School- the teachers care for the kids and they are friendly-whihc is key for a child to feel safe and happy in school. The stratford program is good balance of academics, art and music- my daughter loves going to school |
| 10/7/2011 | parent | Perhaps the school gets better for kids as they enter the grade level, but unfortunately the teachers fail to understand the psyche of a preschooler or Pre-K children. No focus on lunch time or playing, its all about learning. I feel there should be a balance. Expect a lot of complaints about your child every time. Wish there was a better positive reinforcement philosophy to build the child's confidence levels first. |
| 9/2/2011 | parent | Excellent School; You pretty much get what you pay for ; I know parents that live in Cumberland Elementary school district and still choose to send their Kids to Stratford; |
| 6/2/2011 | parent | Why dont they rename this school to Stratford Business school! Or better yet - Scamford. Yes, the school is ok for studies and all - but it is hellish expensive. And the school has a lot of other ways of making money. Rather than give details on what the kids will learn in an upcoming year, they give a very detailed tuition policy with all sorts of disclaimers. Its a total franchise - interested in making $, but it happens to be in the schooling/education business. Think of it as similar to a Medical HMO! Most parents who have relaxed jobs send their kids here - given the amount of participation the school needs from them. At roughly ~ 20k per year (Jan thru Dec), why not just call the school Stanford??? |
| 2/4/2011 | parent | Preschool teachers should try to understand preschoolers' personality and motivate them to participate and perform well in the academics. Teachers failed to do so with my child big time. Instead they complain on everything and it is very disturbing for the child emotionally. i wish there was a 0 star rating. |
| 6/28/2010 | parent | My daughter is a student in Stratford-Washington Park. She loves to go to school every day and enjoy learning everything at school. Teachers are nice and the curriculum is wonderful. My daughter really thinks her school as an 'extended family'. I'm really happy for my daughter's loving for learning here and strongly recommending to parents in our neighborhood! |
| 3/16/2010 | parent | My son is currently attending this school. The academic is very challenging and my son is learning a lot in this school. The teachers are really nice. |
| 2/12/2010 | parent | Wonderful school! My elder daughter is in middle school and has been attending Stratford since Preschool. At every step of the way the teachers have been capable mentors and the administrative staff have been very proactive and helpful. We feel that this school has the right mix of focus on academics and extracurricular activities. It is amazing to see the level of parent involvement! Parents make as many friends as the kids every year! No wonder we are sending our younger daughter to the Stratford Preschool program as well. It is the most safe, disciplined, and creative environment we can think of. |
