| 9/18/2006 | staff | I believe that Meadow View is one of the best elementary schools here in Susanville. The teachers are well involved with the children, and seem to care what is going on with the local community, and children in the community. |
| 5/2/2005 | parent | Great school Mrs. Dunn is an amazing teacher and my child loves her class. Mrs. Templeton really knows how to make children interested in reading and knows how to connect with the children. Mr. Spence is a great hands on principal. The staff and parents really make this school a fun and safe evironment. |
| 1/8/2004 | other | This school has a beautiful, clean setting. It is a newer school (8 yrs +) They have a great program for phonics for learning to read. Children under achieving attend remediation. A great program called accelerated reader motivates students to read and assess achievement. Another program called 'WOW', for memorizing sight word is implemented which helps enhance reading skills. Before the budget cuts a reading chain program was implemented. All students attend a reading group at the same time to read aloud in groups. Most of the teachers have many years of experience. |
| 6/13/2003 | | I am new to the area and my experience as well as my daughters have been really nice. I would recommend this school to anyone that is new around here. |
