| 4/30/2012 | parent | This school has a great reputation and a long history of strong parental involvement. however, over the last 4 years the active parents have left the school, playground bullying is uncontrolled, and teacher supervision has declined dramatically. There are several other schools in Woodland where the teachers and administrators are working to improve their school environments and I would stongly suggest these schools over Plainfield People have left Plainfield for Dingle, Gibson and Freeman. All completely unheard of a few years ago. |
| 7/8/2009 | parent | The students, teachers, and staff are amazing. The children listen are polite and behave. My child went there for seven years and enjoyed every minute of it. |
| 5/4/2006 | parent | This is an amazing little school. The staff is dedicated, parent participation is high, community involvement is high. An 'Enviornmental Sciences' themed 'country' school, classes take season field trips each year to the Cache Creek Nature Preserve where students get hands on activities and learn about wildlife and conservation. They have an award winning Science Club, and participate with the local agricutural community. We moved our son to this program in first grade, and haven't looked back! |
| 3/10/2005 | parent | Plainfield is a lovely, small school. The principal and staff appear to know all children and their parents by name. I have been very impressed with the dedication of the teachers. The GATE program is excellent for this area. Parent involvement is high. I cannot say enough good things about this school. There is an Environmental Learning program in place with a focus on local agriculture and conservation programs. The children are taught to think for themselves and problem solve. A wonderful school in many ways, I hope they continue the good work. |
