| 2/26/2012 | parent | All four of my kids have attended this school. Three of them are still attending. Everyone from the principal to the secretary to all the teachers are so welcoming and supportive. They take bullying serious here and nip it in the bud immediately! Would recommend this school!! |
| 8/30/2011 | other | Verbatim from the D49 official Falcon Flyer received 8/30/2011: "Overcrowding has been a hot topic in District 49. Falcon continues to be one of the fastest growing districts in the state. We currently serve about 14,000 students. This is perhaps the first year that our overall student population has not increased, but that does not change the fact that overcrowding continues to plague our district. Eight schools in District 49 are currently over-capacity. They include Woodmen Hills Elementary, Falcon Middle School,Falcon High School, Evans International Elementary, Springs Ranch Elementary, Odyssey Elementary, Ridgeview Elementary, and Skyview Middle School. Of the remaining schools, not a single one of them is less than 75% full...Teachers struggle when thirty or more students outnumber them..." |
| 5/25/2011 | parent | fantastic psychology teaching! My family has had a hard time, going through a divorce and so forth but i feel that the school has really helped my children. My girls have revived fantastic support from teachers and classmates and are now strong independent girls who can take on any man the come across in life, just as one of the teachers did- she proved she could take care of several men at the same time, and this is a lesson i want my girls to know! |
| 5/25/2011 | parent | Great study of psychology here. After certain family issues my son had problems with schoolwork and was falling behind on his workload. He blew her away with how big his load was but she took his load very seriously. Great school 10/10 |
| 5/21/2011 | parent | The review below was referring to Rachel Wonner, sorry about that. I wasnt paying attention when I was posting :/ |
| 3/24/2011 | teacher | This is a great school to work at! The administrators are very supportive of teachers, students, and parents. The school-wide behavior plans and rules help keep the students organized and the teachers consistent. |
| 3/3/2011 | parent | Absolutely loved this school. Minus some of the advanced technology (smartboards, computers for each child in classroom) we had at our previous private school; SRES was right on for education. Given the fact that teacher pay is low, the teacher's here still give 110% towards your kids education and they really care. We loved the principal, Mrs. Jones; she was awesome!! Mr. Levi is the absolute best teacher no matter what grade he teachs. The PTO and the rest of the staff really care about their school and it is like a family. We are going to miss SRES as the military moves us away, but we highly recommend it for any new families looking at attending!! |
| 1/20/2011 | other | i came here for 1st - 3rd grades, and I am now a freshman in high school. When I was here, it was an amazing school and I miss it so much. It is much better than any other school I've gone to, and I'm so glad I went there. I hope they are staying strong and teaching the little kids well! |
| 10/31/2010 | parent | Well rounded group of teachers that genuinely seem to care. A principal that is dedicated to the students. With all the funding issues and the tough economic times SRES still manages to educate our kids and works hard on making them well rounded citizens. |
| 11/11/2009 | parent | we love Springs Ranch the teachers and principals are awesome aswell as the secretaries who do a great job. |
| 8/26/2009 | parent | Love the teachers! My children love it here. It has been a very wonderful experience for my whole family. |
| 8/9/2008 | parent | SRES has impressed me so much. Moving from AZ where my children were almost 2 grades behind, the teachers and staff at SRES stepped up and I am forever grateful. |
| 4/28/2008 | parent | This school is one of the top schools in D49 testwise, unlike what some parent reported. The teachers really care and Mr Ingram, the PE teacher is absolutely the best. There are over 600 students and he greets each by name. The school takes part in the Landsharks running club and district basketball and they offer a Science club and Speed stacking as well as many other extras. We have been here 3 years with 2 kids and haven't had a bad teacher yet. |
| 4/14/2008 | parent | We have been incredibly impressed with the teachers at SRES. Our son has done well in his first 2 years of school and I'm sad that we'll be leaving before his sisters have the opportunity to experience this school. I believe that our son has a great foundation to build on as we move this summer. |
| 7/21/2007 | parent | My son went to SRES for 5 years. He is wonderfully prepared for middle school. I highly recommend SRES! |
| 7/18/2007 | parent | Prior to Springs Ranch, my kids attended a private school as well as one District 11. Our experience at Springs Ranch elementary was the VERY BEST! The administration was wonderful, all but 1 of our teachers were terrific, the PE teacher, Mr. Ingram, inspired a love of sports in my daughter and taught both my kids good sportsmanship. I am heartbroken to leave. Annie Hiritz was the greatest principal we ever experienced and I hope the next principal will be as good. Both my kids attended SRES from the opening of the school until 2007 when my youngest finished 5th grade. The respectful way the administration treated the children brought out the best in them. Even the janitors were friendly! |
| 5/15/2007 | parent | This school is just fantastic in all its way, the teachers are doing wonderful job, my kid she loves all her teachers and loves to go to school... They are doing a very good job with respect to sports, extracurricular activities and attention to each kid... |
| 8/27/2006 | parent | The teachers here are so outgoing. It is a very nice smaller school, new equipment, tons of extracurricular activities for all ages. Every grade from Kindergarten to 5th grade has the opportunity to participate in all activites. Super friendly parents, very nice and clean environment. Promotes healthy living and bright futures! We just moved here to Springs in July 06, only three weeks into school, and we never want to leave! |
| 2/9/2006 | parent | Somewhat surprising overall test scores, considering the demographics of the area, and the parent involvement. Seems to lag behind other Dist. 49 schools in acheivement level. Has some excellent individual teachers (Duke, Levi, Ingram, Morissey) |
| 7/19/2005 | parent | Not a bad school, but VERY crowded. Also, difficult to drop and pick kids up in morning and afternoon. |
| 7/6/2005 | parent | This school does a great job considering the amount of children they have enrolled. I would like to see more of the SOAR program implemented but the SOAR teacher is for 4 different schools. Excellent Principal! |
