| 3/9/2012 | parent | We chose to enroll our children in this school. It has been the best decision for our kids. They have experienced teachers that enjoy what they are doing. They are invested in the education and well being the students. They have gone above and beyond in helping one our kids that has academic challenges. Our child is excelling, self esteem is at an all time high, this kid is having fun learning, and motivated to keep proving he/she can do more. The staff has been supportive 110%. They come up with new ideas if old ones aren't working any more. They use a variety of teaching techniques in all subject areas to keep kids engaged in learning, and having a great time doing it. They do an excellent job in supporting student's independence and responsibility. The CSAP scores may not be the highest, but they are teaching every child to excel at their level. The parent involvement is super. The PTO has great activities and fundraisers which we need desperately. The parents are welcomed with cheerful attitudes. It is very welcoming and easy to "fit in" with other parents and staff there. We LOVE Turnberry. |
| 1/29/2012 | parent | We love Turnberry! We have been there since their doors opened. The teachers are fantastic and truly care about the success of all students |
| 1/13/2012 | parent | My two girls attend this school. The teachers are great. My oldest is in second grade. She was way behind in her class. Her teacher was very concerned about her. Her teacher worked with my daughter, and didn't give up. Know she is at grade level. Thank you so much:) |
| 10/4/2010 | parent | I really like everything about Turnberry! The teachers are awesome with the kids and the principal is in tune and a great leader. My only complaint is the parking lot in the back...it need to be bigger!!!! |
| 5/27/2010 | other | I absolutely love Turnberry Elementary! It has done a fantastic job since it opened in 2008. The teachers and the rest of the school staff do a nice job meeting the educational needs of the students! |
| 5/5/2010 | parent | This school opened two years ago. My daughter was in 2nd grade and my son attended pre-kindergarten program. My son's teachers were fabulous as well as his kindergarten teacher this year. My daughter's teacher last year was awful, just plain awful and the principal recognized this and did not rehire the teacher for this year. She is constantly evaluating her staff/teachers to ensure that they are all on the same page with what she envisions for this school. She is available to speak with parents (lots of visits, phone calls and emails last year re. teacher) and does not seem to be annoyed or bothered. My daughter's teacher this year has been more than wonderful. Love this school and the staff. The PTA is great and does lots of fun things throughout the year. |
