1/27/2012parentBoth my children attended this school last year. Administration staff was mediocre. But my son's fifth grade teacher Mr. C was sensational at turning my son's attitude towards school around. It not the school, but the wonderful teacher that has made a difference!!!!!"
8/17/2009parentDo NOT send you child to this school. MY child has attended this school for the last 3 years k-2nd grade and is far below where she should be. I have written notes, called , and all but begged for communication with the staff. I get no response. We are very uninformed, we get newslewtters AFTER events have taken place, or with incorrect information. I am trying at this time to do everything possible to get my child out of this school this year. DON'T do it- we have a right to move our children out of low performing schools. I just found this out and I am going to see that it happens. This school should be closed.... it is shameful
5/12/2009parentMy daughter goes to this school. Federal hights Elem. is the reason why people put there children in private school!! Her tearch is great but the administration is lacking. They take no responsible actions in the safty or in communcation to the parents of problems that arize. We live in state were a great tragidy happen. Saftey should be at the top of every schools list!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
4/15/2009parentI like this school. My son comes home from school with daily homework and happily talks about his day. The school does not only focus on academics but community involvement as well. The staff and faculty are great with the students.
8/20/2005parentI.ve had 2 children attend FHE. We have always had great teachers, they have always informed me on what's going on. My husband and myself have attended field trips we've always had behave children. I would give all the staff at FHE an A++
7/3/2005parentWe absolutly love FHE they have a wonderful academic program and the teachers are very patient understanding and have a passion for what they are doing. Our son loves the music classes as well as the art programs.
10/6/2003parentIt has been my experience that many of the teachers have lost their interest in the development of children. It seems that they have a fair amount of older teachers with little or no patience with the students. Frustration levels are high, and the focus is not so much on academics as it is each child's personality traits. Maybe this would account for such low academic scores.
