| 1/17/2010 | parent | I moved my family from NY in to Lakeville CT. Salisbury Central far surpasses that of the school our kids attended over in New York State ('Great Schools' rating of our old school was a 4. Salisbury Central has a 9.) And believe me, parents, it's an accurate rating. My kids have been there for 2 years, and both classes have a decent size and excellent teachers. The teachers always respond promptly to any issues you contact them with. Even the principal Mr. Butwill will call you personally if you bring any issues to his attention. I can't say enough good things about this school after going from a 4 to a 9. I could be because they must compete with the private schools in the area. Many residents here can afford them but send the kids to SCS anyway. Whatever it is, it works. |
| 12/21/2009 | parent | This is a great school. They have great teachers including Mr. denza. |
| 8/24/2009 | parent | The school is even better than we thought it would be. Our son has special needs and the therapists and teacher(s) are fantastic. I attended prep school and the experience we are having with this school is on par. Class size is 11. My son would never get this quality of attention if we had stayed in Manhattan unless we paid dearly for it. |
| 8/24/2008 | parent | Salisbury Elementary and Central schools offer a great education and support system for the children who attend, I moved my family to the area about 3 years ago and have found that I could not get a better 'private' education anywhere else, the teachers are dedicated and focused, the extra corricular subjects are bountiful and the school is very well supported by parents. |
| 3/3/2007 | student | This school is pretty good. It has gym, music, art, keyboarding, library, character ed. And a lot of sports like baseball and soccer and other stuff. Its lunches are pretty heathy with a salad bar. |
