| 7/3/2011 | parent | As the parent of a child who attended Beauvoir from Pre-K to 3rd grade, I can truely say with gratitude and tremendous appreciation that the faculty and every staff member there work especially hard to ensure that your precious gift that you've entrusted to them develops a love for learning. The students are bubble wrapped in the Beauvoir life rules of respectful, responsible, honest and kind. The entire school building is state of the art. The student population is diverse and class sizes remain small by design; limited to 10 boys and 10 girls with the best of the best from a national/international search of primary and secondary teachers in each classroom. The school is located on the grounds of one of Washington, DC's most visited tourist attractions, The National Cathedral with breathtaking panoramic views of the city. There is 100% parental support within the Beauvoir community for the administration, teachers, and all activities sponsored by the school throughout the school year; from global studies night, math mornings, curriculum based field trips, child enrichment programs, and lasting friendships. This school is worthy of strong consideration and truly a must see! |
| 4/6/2006 | parent | Beauvoir is a fantastic place for the young child. It is a unique school in that it goes from PK to third grade and therefore they can focus on the early years. They are experts on the early years and can expend all of their resources on that age group. They do such a magnificent job. The school's emphasis is on providing a beautiful view of learning for the children. They focus on building their confidence and character. My daughter loves going to school everyday and is sad to leave. |
