| 9/24/2009 | other | Nannie Helen Burroughs School is celebrating 100 years of educating and mentoring students. The small class sizes, qualified teachers and host of Aides, not to mention parent volunteers make this an exceptional school to attend. Not just as a student but the working environment as well. Dr. Burroughs dreamed of providing quality education to students in a nurturing, safe, Christian environment; in which will provide them the values, knowledge and skills to ensure their role as productive citizens and leaders in today's society. |
| 9/22/2009 | parent | Nannie Helen Burroughs School principal greatest desire is to see that every student excel by working to their fullest potential. The staff is committed, caring and very knowledgeable. They have an excellent program, and they work with the parents to make sure our students don't fall behind. My son attended the school some twenty years ago and so it was not a question as to where my grandson would attend. We love and support the Nannie Helen Burroughs School. |
| 8/20/2009 | parent | Nannie Helen Burroughs is an excellent environment for my son who is in the kindergarten. I admire Ms. Tibbs whom is an exceptional teacher. My son has come far he is very smart and he is actually on honor roll. That school is great. I have told people about this school and they happen to enjoy this school as well. |
| 5/7/2006 | parent | My daughter was a student at NHB in the 1990's. It was a wonderful experience. The teachers were excellent and staff exceptional. I am happy to report that my daughter just finished her 1st year of college at Seton Hall University where she is a biochemistry major. |
| 11/3/2004 | parent | My son attended NHB in kindergarten and I thought it was an excellent school which prepared him well for public schools. |
| 9/9/2003 | parent | Our children are well above the average on all levels of reading and math. They strive for excellence and spend a great deal of time reading and ctitical thinking. They are very obedient and well behaved. |
