| 1/15/2012 | parent | My son was bullyed many times. One time a kid hit him and he ended up at the clinic. Surprisingly nobody told me anything. When I called the school, the principal was denying until it was confirmed by video cameras. I'm yet to find out what was the outcome for that situation. My son was appointed the student of the month. At the celebration they forgot to mention my son's name and he was the only one that did not receive the certificate presented to others. Very disorganized :( |
| 7/30/2010 | parent | My son went to McIntosh Middle School in the academic year 2009-2010. He had ASD and had a lot of trouble with children bullying him. The administration took time to find a place for my son to thrive in. He grew to love everyone there and felt like it was a great place. Thank you Mr. Nastin, Mrs. Fidelli, and Staff for a wonderful experience. Our lives will forever be changed. |
| 9/18/2008 | student | I went to this school in 7th grade & now im in 10th. When i went to MMS i thought it was just okay. I found that nobody really cared if you got lost and trust me you were bound to get lost the place was huge anyways if your wanting your child here make sure they know where there going. |
| 3/13/2004 | parent | This year my seccond of five children is a sixth grader at MMS. Tommy is very involved in student council, band, jazz, and looks forward to waking up early in the mornings to put in his practice. The band teacher is marvelous and takes particular interest in each and every child. My son has maintained an above average school grade through much encouragement and help from teachers on an as needed basis. The principal, although we personally havent met him, has a repuatation of being a very fair, caring and well liked man. We are proud to be part of MMS, and support our school 100%..With much appreciation, The Tucciarone's |
| 2/21/2004 | parent | My child's first year at MMS has been great. The Teachers are great and the push the children to there highest potential, also we are blessed with a great principal.I feel the safety on the school is top notch always watching out for the children. |
| 10/13/2003 | parent | Some core class teacher-student ratios [2003-04] are 1:39. Typically, the brighter kids are in the larger classes, the rationale being 'they don't need as much attention.' :) [Open House comment of well-intentioned staff member.] |
