| 10/16/2012 | other | As I attended DRMS and now have a family member attending DRMS I have nothing nice to say about the school. No one at the school, other than a few teachers, seem to have any idea what they are doing. They (most of the school, with some great exceptions) are careless. The school does not do a good job of preparing you whatsoever. They seem to have a different principal every few years, and none of them can get a handle on the school. As a current senior in high school, Dean Rusk provided me with the worst years of my "school life." |

| 4/29/2009 | student | Dean Rusk Middle School was about average for a public school. I enjoyed it a lot though. There were a few problems there such as possible gangs (though fights were rare- I only heard of one while i was there) and one of my teachers didnt really teach us at all (she gave us busy work the whole year like copying different articles but never anything where we actually learned). There were a few drama problems and the school is in an aging facility but other than that I liked it. My other 4 teachers were lots of fun and taught very well. There are lots of people to be friends with and its a very sports involved school. Basketball cheerleading is very easy to make but the chiefs football cheerleading is harder. there are other sports too: soccer (girls and guys), wrestling, cross country ect. Overall it was good.(: |
