| 5/2/2012 | parent | My daughter has been attending Lee County Middle for two years now. Like most parents, I was apprehensive about middle school, but I have been so pleased with my daughter's experience here. Not only are the academics fantastic (and challenging for my over achiever), but the focus on character building and the firm stand administration takes on bullying, drugs, etc. have been comforting. |
| 4/13/2010 | parent | It is a great learning experience and teachers are very encouraging. |
| 9/16/2009 | parent | i love the relationship the teachers have with the students. My son has had such great teachers that he enjoys learning from. We have such a nice building and atmosphere for them to spend their days. |
| 8/18/2009 | parent | I have withdrawn my son from Lee County Schools because of the way they deliver the courses. They don't use textbooks, only hand outs and have lots of busy work to do during the day. It seems as if they only teach the test, if you are trying to decide which school to enroll you child, not here! It may be the best choice around but that's because all the other schools are horrible so it only looks good by camparison. If you don't get in where you fit in your child will be just another face in the crowd and it's a 'good ole boy' crowd at that. |
| 6/16/2009 | parent | We have had a good experience with LCMS. My son enjoyed his classes and the teachers kept me informed on what was going on each week. I |
| 7/12/2007 | parent | They are somewhat friendly but also very snotty, if you dont meet their standards especially if you dont fit with the 'in' kids. Their parent-teacher conference was my child sitting with me and telling me what she had done up to then with the teacher walking around the classroom. Do they think I dont know what my child is doing? I see it every night. I want to know from them how my child is doing what are her strong points, what do we need to work on, etc... Very ineffective method. |
| 9/18/2006 | parent | This school is great I suppose, in comparison with other schools in the area. However, as a military family that moves every three years, I shudder at the thought of my children trying to catch up to others in a different state where education rates higher than 48th out of 50 states, as Georgia does. The school does not offer any students text books and my opinion is that they prepare the students at this school for tests that are given by the state so that they can pass with 'exceptional scores' and all other academic lessons are left out. The employees here are friendly and the facilities are clean, but unfortunately that doesn't prepare my children to achieve academic excellence and prepare them for future educational challenges. |
