4/8/2012parentWe have 3 children in school at BA, in third, seventh and tenth grades. We could not be any more pleased. The academics are very challenging. When kids transfer to BA from public or other private schools, consistently they are behind and have to catch up. It is an extremely caring and nurturing environment and could not be happier.
3/22/2012parentMy children have always been in public schools that received a 10 on the great schools rating. When we moved to GA three years ago we chose Bulloch Academy instead of the public school system. I could not be more pleased with the education they are receiving. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and we are happy to be part of the BA family. My teens are involved in sports, clubs and a lot of other activities that BA offers. Not only are they growing educationally but they are maturing in character.
3/22/2012parentMy children have been attending Bulloch Academy since Pre-K and my oldest child is now in 4th grade. I have been so impressed with the education that they are receiving. My children are consistently scoring in the 95-99 percentile on national standardized tests. The teachers give each of my children individualized attention and love my children as if they were their own. There are numerous activities that all students can be involved in. The lower school children interact with the middle school and high school students, thus reinforcing the family atmosphere at the school. I have nothing but positives to say about BA!
3/2/2012otherDon't waste your money, way behind in education compared to public schools. They are more concerned with status and how much you give and who you know.
3/1/2012parentHorrible administration! Horrible counselor! Save your money. This school is one big "clique". Snobby parents and kids.
7/15/2011otherA great school for all children. The young children get extra attention and are tended to in the right manner. All children are encouraged and challenged which is why the middle and high school is wonderful. The older kids are all academically fit and are way ahead of other schools. Another great thing about this school is there is an extra-curricular activity for everyone! Even elementary is involved with programs so much better than the recdepartment. Its great for the school to be so closely knit in everything! I wouldn't think twice about sending your child there, it is worth every penny and your child wil agree.
10/13/2010parentFantastic academics, safe family setting
9/22/2009parentI have a son in 4th grade and a daughter in 11th grade; they attend school events and pep rallies together and the entire school is like one big caring family! All the teachers and coaches know my children and look out for them. I know they are getting an excellent education there and the teachers let me know often how well my children are doing.
9/22/2009parentBulloch Academy is a great school! My son is in the 4th grade and loves it! Bulloch Academy feels like family!
9/22/2009parentIt is a wonderful place to teach and my children love the family-like atmosphere
9/22/2009parentIt is a great place that doesn't have the distractions of a public school. Students can be involved in more activities than at a larger school.
11/17/2008otherThe new administrator has been there for almost 3 years. Better make a change before she ruins the school.
8/3/2008parentMy child was in Pre-K at Bulloch Academy last year. We could not have asked for a better teacher, teacher's helper or school. We loved it. Cant wait to start back!
8/30/2007parentAs a parent of 3 children, I realize that each child has their own unique needs in education. BA is perfect for my child with the smaller, safer and nurturing environment! It is worth every penny to know that my child is happy and safe and very well educated! Have no worry sending your child here.
11/13/2006parentBA is a wonderful school for working mothers. I am not worried during the day about my children because I know that they are in a safe and nurturing environment. There are quality teachers at the school. Hopefully, with our new administration in place, BA will only continue to grow.
6/10/2006parentBA is becoming academically sound. Certainly, parents do have an opportunity to voice an opinion. This school is improving as new academic teachers in the upper school and lower school are hired and a new administration is on the horizon who will carry the gauntlet of academic rigor. It is a great alternative to the public school aspect of Bulloch County. In comparison to other area private schools, the tuition is right on target.
5/2/2006parentThis school is academically ok but not diverse in any way. The PTA is extemely clique-y. Parents run this school and it shows. Also, teachers feel free to teach prayer and religious values to students when not part of the curriculum. The price of this private school and the education you receive is not balanced at all.
