| 2/23/2011 | parent | The teachers are not much more than babysitters, and being different is not tolerated. So as long as your a hick or a preppy sports kid, you'll |
| 1/12/2011 | other | I went to this school and I saw that someone said that they are tolerant of new students... that's a lie. As a half Hispanic I was picked on tortured and just plain ostracized by the student and most of the staff. They where not at all understanding and in most ways they where patronizing not only to me but to my family. The Beecher City school is not well maintained and personally I would home-school my kids before I would allow them anywhere near this school! The staff doesn't care about the students and the students there are cruel and when you try to stand up for yourself you get ISS or "lunch detention" its sad the school needs to either be closed down or something because it stinks! The curriculum there is substandard and if you ask a question in class you will be publicly humiliated so it was better not to try. |
| 10/27/2010 | parent | Beecher City offers alot for a small school. We have a strong Math program. It's tuff, but ask those who enter college how it helped them? Sports, we have a lot to offer there too. |
| 1/5/2007 | parent | Great quality educators. I think this small town school provides an excellent education with very caring teachers. It is nice to see students so accepting to new students. I think the parent involvement is much higher in this small school. |
| 9/26/2005 | former student | On a 1 to 10 scale i would give this school a 3. The reason for the three would be the lack of excitement this school has in comparison to Effingham High School or Teutopolis High School or any other school located in the limits of Effingham County. This school also does not offer any music programs to 7th to 12th graders. Also, the school does not offer any college prep classes to my knowledge. |
