| 5/17/2012 | other | The reviewer that posted for Hickory Creek dated February, 2009 couldn't have said it better. Interesting that it's 3 years later and someone needs to repeat a negative review; maybe it's the culture of the district then. The comments on the Character Counts Program and of the Administrators are spot on. The students eventually tune out the program. Then sit back and watch the games begin when the program is ignored. Ironic. I agree (for the most part) the teacher/student relationships are good within the district, so at least we have that going for us. |
| 10/31/2011 | parent | I went up to the school on October 24, 2011 to see my daughter at 1:00 p.m.. I just needed to pop up on her and address some issues I was having with her performance. The front office clerk on duty was impersonal, rude, sarcastic and made a statement to me that was out of place. I have tried for a week to get in touch with the principal regarding the incident via phone calls and voicemail messages. To no avail, I have not been honored a return call so I am voicing my complaint online. She knows who she is and she knows what she said. I am advising her to NEVER address me, or any other parent for that matter in that way again. Things could have gone awry had I really given her ignorance some attention. |
| 11/30/2010 | parent | We love Chelsea school! We moved to IL this year and spent a lot of time researching schools in Frankfort and the surrounding communities. I'm so glad we chose Frankfort and Chelsea school for our son, it has been a great experience. The teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable, our son has an IEP and the team is terrific, I feel he is in very good hands with all of his teachers and therapists. I highly recommend Chelsea! |
