| 10/13/2010 | parent | Western's teachers truly care. They have been wonderful in helping us work with our daughter and assisting us in ways to helping her learn. |
| 7/13/2010 | parent | Excellent teachers, nice facility - A+! My son really enjoyed his first year there. We are very happy with this school. |
| 4/29/2010 | parent | The faculty is focused on the students learning and spend one on one attention with anyone who needs it. The school also has a wonderful PTO. |
| 12/18/2008 | parent | My two sons have just recently enrolled in Western Elm. I have to say they are loving it and still get the top education they need. Ms. Stumbo is my oldest sons teacher and she is a sucess in her own self. I am so glad that my children are receiving the foundation and education they need to grow. |
| 2/6/2007 | parent | I have 4 children ages 6-10 going to Western. The two older kids were going to a top Lexington school last year. This year, they seem to be enjoying school much more, but I would say they are not at the level they were. Not to take anything away from Western, it is just a reflection of the academic standards set between districts/schools. My two younger children continue to make progress although my youngest has been struggling emotionally to keep up. She receives a lot of individual staff attention and outside developmental support that other schools could not provide. For this, I am grateful that Western has the professional staff to help her deal with her learning and some behavioral issues. The 1st/2nd graders are kept with the same class/teacher for two years. Both teachers are very competent. However, my assessment of this program is still up in the air. |
| 1/19/2007 | parent | Both my younger children attend this school and I am very happy with their progress. The school is the second best in the district and is partnered with the same school for family resources. The academics are challenging and the infrastructure supports high achievement. |
