| 3/26/2012 | parent | My 7th grader had to be taken out of this school 2 months before the end of the school year because of bullying. We were recruited during a drive to sign up noncatholics. They downplay the religious aspect and push the small class size and scholarship outlook. If you are not Catholic, just don't do this. My child was told she was a "bad person" and was going to go to hell. Nothing was done to stop this. Many times the answer to questions in science class was "God made it". If you are preparing your child for the 12th century instead of the 21st, this might be acceptable. The parents are mean-spirited and this, unfortunately is picked up on by their children. |

Students placed at MIT, Tulane, Holy Cross, Notre Dame, Centre College and UK--many on full tuition scholarships. The high school teachers are awesome--caring about the individual within the student. The music programs in elementary, middle and high school are exceptional--placing several students each year in All-State Choral Groups, winning superiors in solo and ensemble instrumental competitions and sponsoring musical productions which are extremely well-received through the community. In addition, the religion program allows an open discussion of moral issues and ethical behavior--two areas that should be emphasized in today's world. My last child graduates in May--spanning almost a decade from oldest to youngest. I am grateful to St. Patrick's for so many warm and wonderful memories. It's a great place to get a great start in life! |
| 9/28/2006 | former student | St. Patrick's School not only prepared me for college success but also success in life. The Christian environment in the school enhanced what my parents taught me at home and instilled in me the value of service to others. Christian values, academic success and the extra-curricular activities of this school was the reason that my children now attend St. Patrick's. |
| 2/18/2006 | staff | I think the enviroment within the school is a great place for children to learn and grow in mind and spirit. In today's world with so much reckless disregard for morality being pushed through through so many mediums; it is difficult for parents to give our children a true sense of morality and respect. Children at St. Patrick are taught to respect others and themselves. The quality of the academics is second to none. My child loves her classroom experience and her test scores reflect the teachers' dedication. I love the family atmosphere; that I'm invited to have lunch with her on any day, that Im encouraged to volunteer in the cafeteria, on the playground, in fundraisers. I know what is going within the school and what's happening with my child on a day to day basis. What a terrific place for my child. |
| 10/24/2004 | staff | As a Grandfather and a bus driver for St Patrick, I have been greatly impressed with the students, faculty, and curriculum of this school. The entire organization work to create an atmosphere for learning and growing. I wish my children and grandchildren had been able to attend. |
