12/16/2009studenti attended crowley high i love thatschool i wish i never would had have to leave.
12/18/2008studentI have been to this school for about 3 months. It is a fairly decent school, the leadership there is great and welcoming. My biggest complaint about this school, is the way the teachers do grades. I really don`t see what weights more is it the Tests or the essays or what? However despite that, this school is pretty decent, and I would recommend this school to anyone who wants to attend.
12/12/2008studentI am former student of Crowley High and I must say that couldn't disagree more with Ms. Dell's comment. I loved Crowley High and was sad to leave. There are teachers and administrators who care a great deal about student well-being at CHS. Mrs. Stemp, Ms. Cummings, and Mr. Allen were incredible! I was given a great amount of support and am now an undergraduate student at Louisiana State University with a 3.23 gpa. I was a 2005 Summer Scholar at LSU and am currently a McNair Scholar candidate so I think that it is unfair to say that CHS does not provide students with an education. If students take on full responsibility and accountability, then no one can deny them an education.
5/23/2007former studentAs a students of Crowley High School. I feel that they do there best with what little support they are getting from the community. Yes in 2006 the football team was district champs, but before that happend, there really wasnt any support from the community, all the community really cares about is sports. I think the community needs to realize if you help your child 1 night a week with homework. The school ratings will go up. You will see. I was a student there from 1999-2003, and yes i was athletic, but I still did my best and the coaches made sure i did, I think the community needs to realize this.
6/29/2005parentMy oldest daughter went here. The office was unhelpful with school records, counseling, school activities, pictures, and parent-teacher conferences. I was very disappointed in the lack of interest shown by staff and teacher. I have since moved away from there.
9/27/2004studentI moved here from texas and let me tell you, i was not impressed at all. All this school cares about is money, money, money. And if they don't get any, they take it out on the students. This entire parish needs to be looked into and the people on the board replaced by people that actually want to talk to the students. Not at them. This school is unacceptable. I do not go here by choice, believe me. I believe in higher education, but all the students at crowley high are not getting anything near that. All the test scores are incredibly low, most students at this school just come here to talk to their peers, and it's sad to say, but so do the teachers. How is a school going to tell you to be yourself and then punish you for it? That is what this school does.
